Road Trip Snack Contest

OFFICIAL RULES

Open to residents of Canada

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY

The Road Trip Snack Contest (the “Contest”) is sponsored by CAA Niagara (the “Sponsor”). Shell Canada is not responsible for the administration of this Contest. The Contest begins at 12:00:00 AM Eastern Time (“ET”) on May 1, 2025, and ends at 11:59:59 PM ET on September 30, 2025 (the “Contest Period”).

ELIGIBILITY

To enter and be eligible to win, an individual must:

  • Be a legal resident of Canada; and
  • Have reached the age of majority in their province or territory of residence at the time of entry.

Employees, representatives, and agents of the Sponsor, its affiliates, and their respective advertising or promotional agencies, as well as immediate family members (parent, spouse, sibling, child) and household members of such employees, are not eligible.

HOW TO ENTER

There are two (2) ways to enter:

  • Email Entry: During the Contest Period, respond to the promotional email with your favourite road trip snack.
  • Social Media Entry: During the Contest Period, share your road trip snack of choice on Instagram, tag @CAA_Niagara, and use the hashtag #RoadTripSnacks.

Each valid submission will count as one (1) entry into the draw. Entrants may enter more than once, but each entry must be unique.

PRIZE

There is one (1) prize available to be won:

  • A $100 Shell Gift Card

The prize must be accepted as awarded, is non-transferable, and has no cash value.

WINNER SELECTION

A random draw will be held on or about October 4, 2025, from all eligible entries received during the Contest Period. The selected entrant will be contacted via the method of entry (email or direct message on social media) within five (5) business days.

To be declared the winner, the selected entrant must:

  • Respond within three (3) business days;
  • Correctly answer a time-limited mathematical skill-testing question; and
  • Complete and return a Declaration and Release Form.

Failure to do so will result in disqualification and another entrant will be selected.

GENERAL CONDITIONS

  • The prize must be accepted as awarded. No substitutions, transfers, or cash alternatives will be provided.
  • The Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, modify, or suspend the Contest at any time without notice.
  • This Contest is subject to all applicable federal, provincial, and municipal laws and regulations.
  • By entering, entrants consent to the use of their name, city, and submitted content (e.g., road trip snack response) for publicity purposes without compensation.
  • The Sponsor is not responsible for technical errors, lost or misdirected entries, or any other issues that may affect the ability to participate or claim the prize.
