The 2025 season marks the Niagara River Lions’ tenth anniversary while looking to go back-to-back as the Canadian Elite Basketball League (CEBL) Champions.

The Niagara River Lions are the premier professional basketball team based in St. Catharines, proudly representing the Niagara Region in the Canadian Elite Basketball League (CEBL). Founded in 2015, these kings of the jungle play their high‑energy home games at the Meridian Centre—nicknamed “The Lions Den”—where every one of the 4,000‑plus fans is brought as close as possible to the fast‑paced, competitive court action.
