OTTAWA, ON – The Canadian Automobile Association (CAA) has been named the most trusted insurance brand in the country, and the second most trusted brand overall, in the annual Gustavson Brand Trust Index released today.
CAA has been ranked one of the top two most trusted brands in Canada three years in a row. CAA also finished first in the insurance category last year, and two years ago was named most trusted travel brand.
“Our continued ranking among the most trusted brands in Canada is a reflection of the commitment of our thousands of associates to put the interests of our 6.4 million Members first,” said Jeff Walker, CAA National’s Chief Strategy Officer.
“Our Members trust us to provide them with honest and helpful advice and services. CAA is proud of our industry-leading offerings, including insurance, travel, Member rewards, and of course emergency roadside assistance,” Walker added.
Conducted by the Peter B. Gustavson School of Business at the University of Victoria, the fifth annual Gustavson Brand Trust Index asked more than 7,200 consumers to score 313 prominent Canadian companies and brands, across 26 industry sectors, on a range of brand value measures.
Overall, Gustavson ranked CAA the country’s most trusted brand a year ago, and second most trusted in 2017.
