At this year’s Niagara Business Achievement Awards, which was hosted by the Greater Niagara Chamber of Commerce at the Holiday Inn & Suites in St. Catharines on Thursday, June 23rd, CAA Niagara was awarded the prestigious title of ‘Business of the Year’.
On hand to receive this very special award was CAA President & CEO, Peter Van Hezewyk, who was accompanied by a very proud retinue of CAA executives, employees and special guests, including Doug Stones (VP), Marrianne Wilson (VP of Marketing, Strategic Member Engagement), Christine Manuel (VP, HR), Kevin Ruthven (Dir. IT) and CAA Board Chair, Janice Thomson.
“We are incredibly honoured to receive the Business of the Year award,” said Peter Van Hezewyk speaking from the podium; beaming with pride as the leader of the thriving membership-based organization that boasts over 145,000 Members and has called Niagara ‘home’ for over 100 years.
After thanking the many community and business leaders in attendance, Peter paid tribute to all CAA Niagara’s team members who are: “Led by our values of teamwork, service excellence, integrity and respect & inclusivity.” The CAA Niagara President concluded his speech by saying, “Thank you to each and every one of you for your continued hard work and dedication to our Members and the Niagara community. We could not be prouder of this phenomenal accomplishment.”
Niagara Business Achievement Awards have been awarded annually since 2004 by the Greater Niagara Chamber of Commerce who organizes the annual event with the support of local partners and sponsors to both celebrate success and business excellence across the Niagara Region.
