1. ELIGIBILITY

CAA Niagara Holiday Swipe-stakes Exclusive Contest (the “Contest”) sponsored by CAA Niagara is open to CAA Niagara Members who meet the following requirements: you must (i) be a resident of Niagara, (ii) if you are under the age of eighteen (18) have had a parent or guardian eighteen (18) years of age or older at the time of the draw read and accept the rules and regulations. Entrants are not eligible to participate in the Contest if they are: a) Employees or Directors of: (i) the Sponsor, (ii) any agents, affiliates, subsidiaries, related companies, advertising or promotional agencies. b) a member of the household and/or immediate family of any of the above parties. For the purpose of these Contest rules, "immediate family" means husband, wife, spouse or same-sex partners, mother, father, brother, sister, son and/or daughter, whether or not they reside in the same household. The Sponsor shall have the right at any time to require proof of identity and/or eligibility to participate in the Contest. Failure to provide such proof within a reasonable period of time may result in disqualification. All personal and other information requested by and supplied to the Sponsor for the purpose of this Contest must be truthful, complete, accurate and in no way misleading. The Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any entry or entrant in its sole discretion, should any entry or entrant at any stage provide and/or contain untruthful, incomplete, inaccurate or misleading personal details and/or information. All decisions regarding eligibility to enter this Contest will be determined by the Sponsor in its sole discretion. Quebec residents who hold memberships in CAA Niagara are not eligible to enter the Contest.

2. CONTEST PERIOD: 

The contest begins on November 21, 2023 at 12:00:01 AM ET and concludes December 11, 2023 at 11:59:59 PM ET, the Contest Closing Date (hereafter referred to as the “Contest Period”).

3. HOW TO ENTER

To enter the contest, you must make an eligible purchase in-store at RW&Co, The Source, or Kelseys Original Roadhouse. An eligible purchase is defined as including an item(s) where the participating location offers a CAA Member discount. Not valid on online purchases or purchases made via 3rd party websites or apps. You must swipe your valid CAA Membership at the time of purchase. Entries become the property of Sponsor. Entries will be declared invalid if they are late, illegible, incomplete, damaged, irregular, mutilated, forged, falsified, altered, garbled, mechanically or electronically reproduced, or tampered with in any way. Entry into this Contest constitutes acceptance of these rules (the "Contest Rules"). No purchase necessary entry here.

Entries that are incomplete, late, lost, and/or irregular in any way or sent by an unauthorized method are automatically void and will not be eligible or accepted. Entries will only be accepted as described herein and will not be accepted by any other means.

By entering the Contest, entrants agree to be bound by these Contest Rules. 

4. PRIZE

Contest prize (the “Prize”) includes :

•    The prize consists of one $250 gift card to RW&Co, one $250 gift card to The Source, one $250 gift card to Kelseys Original Roadhouse, and one $250 gift card for Sobey's. Total value is $1000.00.

The Prize must be accepted as awarded, and may not be assigned, transferred, substituted exchanged, refunded or redeemed for cash value. CAA Niagara reserves the right to substitute the Prize with an item of equivalent or greater retail value in the event that the Prize is unavailable due to circumstances beyond CAA Niagara's control.

5. NOTIFICATION AND QUALIFICATION OF SELECTED ENTRANTS

Selected entrants will be notified by the email address provided at the time of entry. No communication or correspondence will be entered into, except with selected entrants.

To be confirmed a Winner, the selected entrant must: 

• (a) confirm compliance with these Contest Rules;
• (b) accept the Prize as awarded;
• (c) correctly answer a mathematical skill-testing question without assistance of any kind, whether mechanical or otherwise, and within the time prescribed; and
• (d) sign and return a Declaration of Eligibility and Release, in the form requested by CAA Niagara, within five (5) business days from the date of delivery thereof.

The mathematical skill-testing question will be administered by email and returned to CAA Niagara by email.

6. AWARDING OF PRIZES

Prizes will be made available in-branch to confirmed Winners. Selected entrants are subject to verification by CAA Niagara and/or its designated representatives, in their sole discretion.

Refusal by an entrant to accept the Prize or any part of the Prize releases and forever discharges CAA Niagara and its agents from all obligations related to the Prize, including delivery. The Winner is solely responsible for all expenses which are not included in the Prize description above.

7. GENERAL RULES

In order to be declared the winner (“Winner”) of the Prize, the Winners must, within five (5) days from the date of the Prize Notification, (i) correctly answer, unaided, the mathematical skill-testing question and provide the answer to the Sponsor, and (ii) complete, sign and return the Release Form to the Sponsor. The Winners will be forfeited if: (1) the Prize Notification is unanswered; (2) the Release is not returned or is returned unsigned; (3) the skill-testing question is incorrectly answered; (4) the Release and the answer to the skill-testing question are not received by Sponsor within the five (5) day time limit; or (5) the Winner has not responded to the Prize Notification within five (5) days.

By accepting a prize in this Contest, entrants consent to the use of their name, city of residence, voice, photograph, image, or likeness in any publicity or advertisement carried out by CAA in connection with this Contest without any further compensation.
