2025 Winter Use the Shell App and Win Contest

OFFICIAL RULES

Open to residents of CAA Niagara club territories in Canada

  1. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY: The February 2025 Shell App Contest is sponsored by CAA Niagara (the “Sponsor”). The Contest begins at 12:00:00 AM Eastern Time (“ET”) on February 3, 2025 and ends at 11:59:59 PM ET on February 28, 2025 (the “Contest Period”).

  2. ELIGIBILITY: To enter and be eligible to win, an entrant must:

    • Be a legal resident of Canada who has reached the age of majority at the time of entry in the respective province of Ontario and reside in the CAA Niagara club territory.
    • Not be an employee of the Sponsor or its affiliated legal entities or agents, their respective advertising or promotional agencies, the independent contest organization, or a member of any such employee’s immediate family or persons domiciled with them (whether related to the employee or not).

    Immediate family includes mother, father, brothers, sisters, sons, daughters, and/or legal or common-law spouse.

  3. HOW TO ENTER THE CONTEST: There are three (3) ways to enter the Contest:

    • Purchase Entry: During the Contest Period, within Canada, at a participating Shell station, make a minimum $0.01 (CDN) purchase before tax and use Shell EasyPay™ in the Shell App to complete the transaction. Your CAA membership number must be linked in the Shell App at the time the transaction is completed. You will receive one (1) entry (“Purchase Entry”). There is no limit on the number of Purchase Entries.
    • Shell App Linking Entry: During the Contest Period, within Canada, download the Shell App and link your CAA Membership Number. Upon doing so, you will receive one (1) entry (“Shell App Linking Entry”).
    • No Purchase Entry: On a plain piece of paper, hand-print your full name, valid CAA membership number, complete mailing address, daytime telephone number, valid email address, and write a maximum 100-word handwritten essay on “Why I Love the Shell App.” Mail to: CAA Rewards – Shell Contest (No Purchase Entry), 3271 Schmon Parkway, Thorold, ON L2V 4Y6. Each entry must be mailed in a separate envelope with sufficient postage. No Purchase Entries must be received by February 28, 2025.

    Entries that are falsified, tampered with, or altered are void. Late or incomplete entries will not be considered.

  4. PRIZE: A total of five (5) prizes are available to be won, each consisting of $500 (CDN) in Shell Canada Gift Cards. Prizes are not transferable, not for resale, and have no cash surrender value. Limit of one (1) Prize per person during the Contest Period.
  5. PRIZE DRAW: A random draw will be held on March 10, 2025, at approximately 10:00 AM ET at 3271 Schmon Parkway, Thorold, Ontario. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received. Selected entrants will be contacted by email and phone within two (2) business days of the Draw Date.
  6. CONFIRMATION OF WINNER: To be confirmed as a winner, each selected entrant must:
    • Correctly answer a mathematical skill-testing question without assistance.
    • Complete a Declaration and Release Form as specified by the Sponsor.
  7. GENERAL:
    • By entering the Contest, entrants agree to abide by the Official Rules and the Sponsor’s decisions.
    • The Sponsor reserves the right to amend the rules or terminate the Contest without prior notice.
    • Personal information will only be used to administer the Contest.
